My coding journey began in high school.

I learned C++ as well as various algorithms and data structures during my high school years. There is a nationwide competition for high school students talented in algorithms called the National Olympiad in Informatics in Provinces (NOIP), hosted by the China Computer Federation (CCF). This competition is quite similar to the International Collegiate Programming Contest at the college level, but participants need to solve the problems without reference materials and on an individual basis.

I secured the second prize in the CCF NOIP 2018. The award list can be found in CCF’s website.
